The housing incorporates an excellent viewfinder optic for full frame viewing. Optionally it can be supplied with the new magnifying Viewfinder Optic GS 180.

The viewfinder of the U/W housing is one of the most important factors when it comes to creative picture composition and control of the viewfinder image. The new GS 180 viewfinder optic provides a 150% increase of the image. The multi-coated, high quality optical system enlarges the viewfinder image to optimal reproduction scale. Moreover the image seen in the housings viewfinder is 2.5 times the size of the original in the camera viewfinder!

The Galilei optic affords a full frame view of the camera finder with only a small reduction. It does not affect the diopter correction at the camera.
