The housing incorporates an excellent viewfinder optic for full frame viewing.

Optionally it can be supplied with the new magnifying Viewfinder Optic WS 45.

The Galilei optic affords a full frame view of the camera finder with only a small reduction. It does not affect the diopter correction at the camera.

The new WS45 Finder affords a comfortable view of the camera viewfinder at 45% viewing angle. As the GS180 viewfinder the WS45 features an enlargement factor of 150%, with the visible finder area enlarged to 2 ½ times of the original. WS45 pivots through 360o, with stops every 90o. The 45o viewing angle offers distinct advantages when taking close-up pictures close to the sea floor or when shooting above/below type situations with semi immersed camera housing. Top quality optical elements assure a bright and brilliant finder image.
